PKR's new leadership reflects grassroots aspirations, not nepotism, say analysts

JOHOR BARU: The outcome of the recent Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) central leadership election has reflected the maturity of delegates in selecting a mix of experienced figures and young leaders. It has affirmed the grassroots' aspirations for continuity and reform, say analysts.

Although the new leadership line-up faced various perceptions, political analysts viewed the sweeping victories by all elected leaders, particularly the spotlight on Nurul Izzah Anwar, as a clear mandate from grassroots members rather than a result of nepotism or factionalism.
