Amirudin urges unity against 'crazy' leaders, advocating for peace, racial harmony


JOHOR BARU: The world is now faced with the challenge of having extreme and “crazy” leaders who do not value peace, says PKR vice-president Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari.

The Selangor Mentri Besar said that such leaders are extreme and have no consideration for humanity or human beings as a whole.

“This is completely against PKR’s instincts as well as the Madani and party president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s beliefs.

“This is why we have to help him and the party to voice for peace and racial harmony, as these are the challenges we see not just in Asia, the United States and European countries,” he said.

He was delivering his address at the PKR national congress here on Saturday (May 24) after winning the vice-president position yesterday.

He added that this should be highlighted as their voice is not a small one, as Malaysia is Asean Chair, led by Anwar as Prime Minister.
