Pakatan's manifesto to be announced after Johor state election nomination day, says Amirudin

TANGKAK: Pakatan Harapan will announce the coalition manifesto for the Johor state election after the nomination day this Saturday (June 27), said PKR vice president Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari.

He said the manifesto, themed 'Johor Ke Depan', would offer a comprehensive development plan based on the excellent track record of the Pakatan administration in Selangor, Penang and Negri Sembilan to be implemented in the state if it obtains the mandate.

"God willing, the manifesto team is preparing. Within a few days after the nomination of candidates, we will announce the Pakatan Harapan manifesto.

"This manifesto is not an example of what we cannot do, but we have done it and we are doing it for the happiness and well-being of the people of Johor," he said when speaking at the PH Candidate Announcement Ceremony for the Johor state election at Padang Bukit Gambir Extreme Park, here on Monday night (June 22).

Also present were Pakatan chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke, Amanah president Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu and a lineup of Pakatan leaders.

The Election Commission (EC) has set June 27 as the nomination day, while July 7 as the early voting day and July 11 as the polling day.- Bernama
