A MAN in China’s Liaoning province ordered 50 ornamental fish online only to receive murky bags of water, reported China Press.

The seller later said that the heat pack in the package probably cooked the fish to death, and then it rotted.

He explained that the fish purchased, which was known as the white cloud mountain minnow, was native to Guangdong in southern China, where the temperatures are warmer.

As the buyer lived in Liaoning, which was nearly 3,000km north of Guangdong, the seller included a heat pack in the parcel to keep the fish warm but misjudged the amount included.

The seller has since refunded the buyer.

> China’s biggest hotpot chain is making headlines for an unfortunate incident involving guests allowing their child to urinate at a table, reported Sin Chew Daily.

The incident took place at a branch located in Harbin city in Heilongjiang province.

A guest who had a meal there told the press that he heard a child at a neighbouring table yelling that they wanted to pee.

To his horror, the parents took a bowl and told the kid to just urinate in it, before placing the bowl on a trolley.

When he complained about the incident, the store gave him a bowl of fruit as compensation.

When the news came to light, many Internet users slammed the parents for poor hygiene.
