Missing student found dead

THE search for a missing college student in India ended when her body was found in a drain, Malaysia Nanban reported.

Identified only as Anupriya, the 25-year-old woman, a second year MBA student, had gone missing in the state of Kerala after attending classes last Thursday.

Family members spoke to her classmates and looked for her at the bus station and surrounding areas after being told she had gone there after class.

They were not able to find her at the specified areas.

The special police task force in charge of locating the missing person, meanwhile, found that she had been in a relationship with a man whose family had objected to their relationship.

Police also found a note believed to have been written by the woman.

The note, which was found slid between the pages of her college books, purportedly stated that if any harm were to befall her, the boyfriend’s family was to blame for it.
