HONG Kong actress-singer Shiga Lin gave birth to a baby girl on Thursday, China Press reported.
Lin’s husband actor Carlos Chan shared the joyful news on Instagram.
The Hong Kong actor took leave from work to accompany Lin in the delivery room and personally cut the umbilical cord, witnessing the birth of their daughter Camillia, who weighed 2.67kg.
“The baby was just born, and I’m so happy! She’s already very lively, moving her little hands and feet,” said the proud father in the social media post.
Lin, 36, a first-time mother, was so nervous before delivery that she was shaking uncontrollably from anxiety. She apparently needed a small dose of sedative to calm her nerves.

In court, the man argued that he had a close relationship with the girl and the intercourse was consensual.
The accused was convicted of having sex with a minor.

On June 11, 2020, the victim was having a drink and chatting with a 29-year-old male colleague on the rooftop of a multi-storey carpark.
The accused punched her companion in the face and jaw.
Still in rage, the accused took out an 18cm kitchen knife and slashed the woman’s cheek before stabbing the left side of her abdomen.
He also threatened to keep stabbing her and take his own life.
The victim fled towards her home, with blood dripping from her abdomen.
Her sister immediately called for an ambulance.
