Discounts galore to mark store’s first anniversary

THE first anniversary of Harvey Norman’s Mid Valley Megamall brings customers discounts this month, until Nov 26.

The flagship store in Kuala Lumpur has anniversary promotions of up to 78% off top brands across a wide range of home appliances, computers and mobile devices, besides bedding and furniture.

The celebration launch kicked off at the store last week with 500 complimentary cupcake giveaways after the cake-cutting ceremony.

There were numerous in-store activities too. Among them were Teka in-store cooking demonstrations, free coffee by Nespresso, launch of the latest La-Z-Boy Recliners, Pay Only RM1 Lucky Draw, Spend and Win Big where customers could win over RM18,000 in prizes including a Hisense 4-door inverter fridge, and Guaranteed Sure-Win Down the Duckling Challenge where customers who spent RM300 could play to win instant prizes of vouchers up to RM500.

The promotion enables customers to shop and win RM20,000 worth of gold bars with any purchase at the MidValley flagship store .

Harvey Norman Malaysia chief operating officer Jonathan Toh said the flagship store was designed for customers to better understand the products in their buying journey.

“Harvey Norman’s Mid Valley store represents the brand’s vision to provide a comprehensive, customer-centric retail experience,” said Toh.

“Beyond product displays, the flagship store lets customers experience and engage with products in a meaningful way.”

He added that its “Shop with Confidence” promise included price match guarantee, same-day delivery, 14-day exchange policy and up to 60 months 0% interest flexible payment plan.

Harvey Norman is an Australian retail brand with 39 stores in Malaysia.
