KUALA LUMPUR: The Senior Golfer’s Society of Malaysia (SGSM) will partner with Matrix Concepts Group to promote the sport of golf among seniors and foster a sense of solidarity among senior golf enthusiasts in the country.

Matrix Concepts chairman Datuk Mohamad Haslah Mohamad Amin said the strategic partnership signifies a shared commitment and reaffirms its dedication to supporting grassroots initiatives and promoting healthy lifestyles among seniors through the sport of golf.

"Our sponsorship support will include prominent branding and recognition across SGSM events, promotional materials and digital platforms.

"The collaboration will also offer unique networking opportunities, hospitality benefits and brand exposure within the Malaysian golfing community.

"We are proud to collaborate with SGSM in promoting the sport of golf and encouraging active lifestyles among seniors as we believe in the power of sports to unite communities and enrich lives," he said during the handing over of a mock cheque of RM250,000 to SGSM at its office in Taman Tun Dr Ismail on Thursday (Feb 22).

Present during the ceremony were Matrix Concepts founder and group executive deputy chairman Datuk Seri Lee Tian Hock, SGSM president Datuk Shamsudin Ismail and deputy president Datuk Bahari Abdullah.

Mohamad Haslah also said they aimed to inspire and empower senior golfers to pursue their passion for the game while promoting health, wellness and solidarity.
