Strong turnout at KL financing session for women entrepreneurs

A dedicated session in Kuala Lumpur tailored for women entrepreneurs was held to provide them with clearer insights into financing options and available support resources.

The event titled “SME Compass 5.0”, a collaboration by SME Association of Malaysia and SME Bank, attracted strong participation from women business representatives across various industries and received an enthusiastic response.

The session was structured around three key objectives.

First, in terms of raising awareness, the SME Association of Malaysia provided in-depth briefings on the various financing schemes, government support initiatives and business development resources offered by SME Bank, helping women entrepreneurs gain a comprehensive understanding of the support ecosystem available to them.

Second, in improving accessibility, speakers offered a detailed walk-through of the financing application process, including eligibility criteria, required documentation and approval procedures.

Third, in highlighting financing opportunities, the session featured a range of competitive financial products, with a focus on how suitable funding solutions could support business expansion and drive sustainable growth.

Through this initiative, the SME Association of Malaysia aimed to further strengthen the growth momentum of women entrepreneurs.

Participants not only deepened their understanding of financing channels but also gained greater confidence in planning their business strategies.

Many attendees said the session was practical and insightful, enhancing their knowledge of financial management and growth strategies, and providing tangible support for business expansion.
