Eye care provider MOG Eyewear has launched a solution incorporating cutting-edge eye care technology and personalised consumer consultation.

Its chairman and founder Datuk Frankie Ng said the launch of MOG’s six-in-one Vision Experience was to educate Malaysians on the importance of eye health.

“The changes in normality over the past two years have alerted us to care more about our overall well-being. However, we noticed that most people often neglect their eye health.

“Most of the time, consumers neglect the need to check their eyes annually to update their visual needs with changing demands and eye care requirements,” he said during the launch event at Pavilion Bukit Jalil in Kuala Lumpur.

“As the pioneer in the professional eye care industry, our focus is to constantly raise awareness of eye health.

“Today, we are immensely thrilled to introduce the industry- first, comprehensive six-in-one Vision Experience which will certainly benefit Malaysians in terms of eye and vision health in the long run,” Ng added.

The Vision Experience involves personalised consultation, eye-health assessment, precise vision correction, personalised lens prescription, digitalised eyewear fitting and extended care protection.

He said MOG was dedicated to encouraging more Malaysians, especially the underprivileged, to prioritise their eye health.

Towards that aim, MOG is launching campaigns to enable children from low-income families to benefit from the Vision Experience.

The company will be supporting numerous national schools in the coming months and it is also currently in talks with the government to identify those who require consultation the most.

“Dealing with refractive errors, especially the increasing demand for near-vision strength among adults and myopia management programme for children, are among our priorities.

“It is our duty to enable children to have basic access to eye and vision care to help them in their education and development,” said Ng.

In conjunction with the launch, MOG is hosting a 10-day roadshow at one of its flagship outlets, MOG Boutique at Pavilion Bukit Jalil until Sunday, from 10am to 10pm.
