Mission to save bees in cities, create safe spaces for them


SCARED of bees? Have you ever spotted a hive and immediately thought of calling pest control?

Many are unaware that those buzzing insects are far more important to our lives.

In Episode 3 of the Life & The City podcast, hosts Aida Ahmad and Farid Wahab explore the fascinating world of bees, conservation and biodiversity in conjunction with World Bee Day today.

Joining them are My Bee Savior volunteer Raja Mohd Soffian Raja Ismail and the non-profit’s president Dr Mohd Norowi Hamid, a retired biologist.

The conversation follows Sof­­­­­­f­ian’s journey from disco­vering a hive in his backyard to becoming a bee rescuer.
