PETALING JAYA: Malaysian bowler Natasha Roslan is embracing the biggest moment of her career after producing a sensational run at the 2026 United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Queens in Las Vegas.
Natasha advanced to the live stepladder finals at the Gold Coast Bowling Center after an outstanding week that saw her emerge as the number two seed on the Professional Women’s Bowling Association (PWBA) side.
The 28-year-old described the tournament as one of the most memorable experiences of her career.
“The USBC Queens is honestly one of the biggest experiences of my career so far,” said Natasha.
“Everything seemed to come together mentally and physically during the week.
“In the elimination rounds, I averaged around 245 over 18 games, and that gave me a lot of confidence because the competition was extremely tough.
“Getting the No. 2 seed on the PWBA side is a huge achievement for me, and bowling consecutive 300 games was definitely one of the most unforgettable moments of my career,” she said.
The tournament began with a field of 199 competitors before being narrowed down to the final five for the televised stepladder showdown.
American Erin McCarthy secured the top seed after averaging more than 240 during match play and remaining undefeated in the double-elimination bracket, including a victory over Natasha to clinch the number one spot.
Joining McCarthy and Natasha in the finals are defending champion Josie Barnes, Singapore’s New Hui Fen and France’s Emma Friant.
The stepladder finals will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network, with the champion taking home the tiara, title and US$60,000 (RM257,000) top prize.
