Natasha Roslan finishes runner-up at USBC Queens in Las Vegas

PETALING JAYA: National bowler Natasha Roslan missed out on capturing her historic first Professional Women’s Bowling Association (PWBA) title after finishing second at the USBC Queens in Las Vegas.

Natasha defeated Singapore’s New Hui Fen 226-205 in a thrilling semi-final, firing five consecutive strikes in the final frames.

Hui Fen had earlier set up the clash by knocking out defending champion Josie Barnes 275-245.

In the showdown against American Erin McCarthy, Natasha got off to a rocky start, having to play catch-up after an early split and a missed spare.

Natasha eventually went down 205-225.
