Transparency may be one answer to the UPU conundrum

EVERY year, social media will be abuzz with comments of unfairness and racial bias directed at the UPU (Unit Pengambilan Universiti).

This year, 105,424 students applied for undergraduate programmes through UPU, hoping to be accepted into one of the many courses offered in public higher education institutions across the country.
