A PATRIOTIC Malaysian has not only decorated her humble home with Jalur Gemilang, but also the portraits of all 10 prime ministers in conjunction with the National Day, Kosmo! reported.
Housewife Kitam Mat Deris, 55, from Dungun, said she did not mind spending RM500 on the decorations as long as the house was cheerful and attracts youths to appreciate the meaning of the country’s independence.
“We deliberately placed portraits of all the prime ministers in the yard so that young people would recognise them,” she added.
Kitam said it took three hours every morning and evening to decorate the house with her husband and daughter.
“We started bit by bit since the beginning of August,” she said.

“Maybe she wants some ‘me time’,” he said.
Azhan also said Noorkhiriah appeared to be focusing more on religious matters, adding that he respected whatever decision she made.
