PUTRAJAYA: The "Abang Bomba" and "Akak Bomba" proved to be crowd favourites once again in this year's National Day celebration.

The crowd's excited cheers and screams filled the air as the beloved uniformed personnel flexed their muscles atop Fire and Rescue Department vehicles.

Many "Abang Bomba" flashed an occasional smile while waving, which only intensified the cheers from the crowd.

Their female counterparts, the "Akak Bomba", were equally popular, winning over spectators with waves and smiles.

Some personnel even took the opportunity to greet the spectators directly, drawing even more cheers and applause.

Other uniformed services were not to be outdone, with muscular personnel from the Armed Forces, police and Road Transport Department also stealing the limelight.

They posed, waved and smiled at the cheering crowd, with many spectators pulling out their phones to capture the memorable moments on video.
