PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim surprised spectators after the National Day parade when he left protocol behind to greet the public.
As he left the stands, he headed to the team of human graphics performers, congratulating them on their performance.
The performers comprised 1,500 pupils from 36 schools.

They performed a variety of songs ranging from the latest hits to traditional tunes, among others.
A jovial Anwar then greeted uniformed unit members before heading over to the spectators and mingling with them, after which he left the venue.
Over 80,000 people attended this year’s celebration at Dataran Putrajaya.
The school holidays and transport facilities provided by the organisers are believed to have contributed to the turnout.
