BLACK Ops: Operasi Serigala is a film set to become a benchmark for the action genre, marking a high-intensity collaborative project between Malaysian and Hong Kong productions, Kosmo! reported.
Bringing together acclaimed directors Syafiq Yusof and Hong Kong filmmaker Chi-Yiu Chui, this film features a historic collaboration between several leading local studios and One Cool Films.
Black Ops: Operasi Serigala boasts a strong cast that combines local talent with well-known Hong Kong actors.
Among them is Sharnaaz Ahmad, of Blood Brothers: Bara Naga fame, playing the role of Johan.
Also starring are Datuk Aaron Aziz as Commander Khabir, Hisyam Hamid, Andy Teh and Hong Kong drama actor Benjamin Yuen.
Black Ops: Operasi Serigala tells the story of Johan, a seasoned agent in an elite secret government unit.
His life is turned upside down when his wife is murdered and his daughter is kidnapped while Johan himself is framed as the main suspect.
Hunted by the authorities, Johan must unravel a dark conspiracy while racing to save his daughter.
The film is scheduled for release later this year.
> The temperature has dropped to as low as 19°C over the last few days in Kampung Bertam Baru and Bertam Lama in Gua Musang, Kelantan, Kosmo! also reported.
Cold weather in the area is normal for the locals as both villages are located on hilly terrain.
However, the recent temperatures have been described as “unusually low”.
A resident of Kampung Bertam Baru, Naim Sulaiman, 64, said they have been forced to adapt to the cold weather.
“We also have to use thick blankets when sleeping,” he said.
Another resident, Hasnah Jusoh, 48, said the cold air has caused the water supply to be much colder than usual.
“My family and I have been shivering from the cold while bathing because the water has been extremely cold for the past few days,” she said.
Based on sharing by the locals, the cold conditions are not only felt at night but continue into the early morning.
