87 fines issued during riding event


MELAKA: Police issued 87 summonses for various traffic offences during the RXZ Members Ride Edition 3.0 2025, which took place around the state from Dec 12 to 14.

State police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Dzulkhairi Mukhtar said the main offences included expired motor vehicle licences, riding without a valid driving licence, expired driving licences and failure to display P or L stickers.

“Other offences recorded included the use of unauthorised accessories, lack of insurance coverage, absence of side mirrors and missing registration numbers,” he said in a statement, Bernama reported.

DCP Dzulkhairi said police also detected offences related to helmets, modified exhausts, registration number violations and faulty brake lights, in addition to failure to obey instructions and failure to stop during the operation.
