Thunderstorms across six states until 6pm Oct 25


KUALA LUMPUR: Thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are forecast to hit several areas in Kelantan, Terengganu, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Sarawak and Sabah until 6pm Saturday (Oct 25).

According to a statement from the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) issued at 3.05pm on Saturday, the areas affected in Kelantan are Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Jeli and Tanah Merah; in Terengganu (Setiu, Kuala Nerus, Hulu Terengganu) while in Selangor it involves Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Gombak and Petaling.

In Sarawak, the affected areas are Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Kapit (Song) and Bintulu (Bintulu and Sebauh).

The affected areas in Sabah are Tawau, Kunak, Semporna and Lahad Datu. - Bernama
