PORT DICKSON: Datuk Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh says his fight is against DAP and Pakatan Harapan, and not against Chinese or Indians.
"We have given it time and we can work together but we draw our lines – do not touch our religion, race or our rulers. If you do, it doesn't matter if you are a friend or foe, we will fight you till the end," the Umno Youth chief said during a ceramah in Linggi here on Sunday (July 26).
He said his stance had been consistent since the unity government was formed at Federal level.
He added that Umno Youth never invited Pakatan leaders to attend the 2023 Umno general assembly, which instead came from other leaders including those from the party's Wanita and Puteri wings.
"Everyone sent invitations for Pakatan to observe the assembly. We never did.
"If you want to be friends, we can but do not enter my house yet. If you sincerely want to be friends, then we will do so.
"But if you are not serious, there is no place for you in my house," he said.
Muhamad Akmal questioned if being firm on matters that touch on the special position of the Malays, the sovereignty of the Malay Rulers and the sanctity of Islam was racist.
"If doing so is racist or against the law, I challenge the government to arrest me. I am willing to be arrested if my stance is an offence," he said.
