Sabah BN fully prepared for state polls, says Bung

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Barisan Nasional is fully primed to face the state elections, says Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin.

The Sabah Barisan and state Umno chief said with the dissolution of the State Assembly, they could go all out to chart their plans and mobilise the election machinery.

"Our preparations have long been underway. All Umno-Barisan election machinery in the state is at the highest level of readiness," he said.

He said Umno and Barisan are not new to this struggle as they have extensive experience in governing, developing and serving the people of Sabah.

Bung said this experience is their greatest asset as it allows every team, candidate and leader to perform their duties in an organised and effective manner.

He said they would craft strategies and approaches that aligns with the aspirations of the people.

"Modern politics demands wisdom and attentiveness to the people's voices. We do not come with empty words but with concrete plans," he said.

Bung said that many areas in Sabah remained underdeveloped, job opportunities were scarce and the development policies inconsistent.
