KUALA LUMPUR: Watsons, Asia and Malaysia’s leading health and beauty retailer, announced its official partnership with Hyrox, the global fitness racing phenomenon, as its official health and beauty retail partner in seven major Asia Pacific markets, starting with the Hyrox Kuala Lumpur race.

This partnership marks a significant step in Watsons' commitment to making health, beauty, and wellness accessible to all.

This collaboration shows Watsons' commitment to promoting healthier lifestyles beyond the race. Whether someone is an experienced athlete, new to fitness, or seeking better daily habits, Watsons aims to be a trusted partner in health and beauty at every stage.

“As the No. 1 Health and Beauty retailer in Malaysia and Asia, we are proud that Malaysia is the first market to bring this exciting partnership with Hyrox,” said AS Watson Group Health and Beauty Asia regional managing director and Watsons International regional exclusives director Caryn Loh.

“At Watsons, we believe health and wellness should be a fundamental part of everyone's daily life.

“As part of this collaboration, we want to go beyond supporting athletes on race day by encouraging more Malaysians to take small but meaningful steps toward healthier, more active living. Whether through the products they use, the wellness advice they encounter, or the experiences they have with us, we want everyone to feel supported in looking good, doing good and feeling great."

As part of the partnership, Watsons Malaysia will introduce a series of engaging online and in-person initiatives for Hyrox participants, fitness enthusiasts and everyday customers.

Watsons Club members can receive a fragrance product with any purchases from participating men's grooming and health brands and access a curated selection of health, beauty and personal care essentials to support daily wellness.

Customers will also find practical health and wellness advice to encourage better lifestyle choices and show that an active lifestyle can begin with simple steps.

At the Hyrox Kuala Lumpur event, Watsons will offer interactive on-site experiences for racers and spectators. Participants can enjoy pre-race activities, including energy boosts and grooming services, as well as post-race recovery services to unwind and refresh.

At the Watsons event booth, visitors can learn about the products, sample select services and if they are Watsons Club members, enjoy product goodies making the experience more engaging beyond the competition itself.

The booth will showcase Watsons’ selected product range, designed to support customers at every stage of their wellness journey: Prepare, Perform, Recover and Renew. Offerings include sports nutrition and protective skincare for the Prepare stage, race-day personal care essentials, post-competition recovery products and everyday self-care solutions. Together, these offerings reflect Watsons’ aim to make health and wellness more convenient and relevant to diverse lifestyles.

Adding to the excitement, eight athletes will represent Watsons at Hyrox Kuala Lumpur. Together, they’ll bring Watsons’ commitment to active living to life, inspiring more Malaysians to challenge themselves, support one another and take meaningful steps toward a healthier lifestyle.
