Bersatu offers better game plan for the nation, says Hamzah

SHAH ALAM: Bersatu offers a better game plan for Malaysia, says party deputy president Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin (pic).

"We offer a better game plan for Malaysia, we reject the politics of vengeance and we have enough flying hours.

"However, history teaches us that power is not permanent. It is God’s will to rotate victory and defeat. Right now, we face hardship ahead and behind – only the resilient will survive,” said Hamzah

He said this in his speech while officiating the annual general assemblies of the Bersatu wings Armada, Srikandi, Srikandi Muda and the Associate wing at the IDCC Centre here on Saturday (Sept 6).

"We have governed before. First under Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, and then under Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin. These leaders proved we can govern the nation," he said.

Hamzah then claimed that the leaders of the Madani government did not dare to speak up against the misdoings of the government, adding that

the nation must be reset in the next general election to ensure Malays do not end up as squatters in their own land.

"The government does not dare to compete on a level playing field. In Parliament, they bulldoze everything with the tyranny of the majority – all for their own interests.

"We are not cowards. We are the hope. That’s why we must be honest and sincere about our current position.

"There are times we must be bold, daring, and speak the truth. We must rebuild the people’s trust and confidence in us," he said

Bersatu is currently holding its eighth annual general meeting over Saturday and Sunday (Sept 7).
