MIC leader attends Bersatu AGM


SHAH ALAM: Deputy MIC Youth chief K. Kesavan is at the Bersatu AGM, taking a front-row seat at the Bersatu Youth eighth annual general assembly at the IDCC Centre here.

Delegates broke into cheers when the wing's chief Hilman Idham mentioned MIC in his welcome address on Saturday (Sept 6).

Recently, MIC deputy president Datuk Seri M. Saravanan said the party would decide its future direction after its annual general meeting in October.

On Aug 10, Penang MIC announced its decision to leave the Barisan Nasional, citing frustration with the coalition's unfulfilled promises.
