Amanah Youth urges members to share govt, party's achievements on social media

IPOH: Amanah Youth members are being urged to share the achievements of the government and the party on social media.

Amanah secretary-general Muhammad Faiz Fadzil said its members should be more active on social media to counter allegations and disseminate information.

"There are a lot of government programmes that benefit the people.

"The reality is now that a lot of (the Opposition's) contents are going viral on our social media accounts.

"We have our own communications centre and team to spread information to its members but these are not shared widely on the ground," he said at a press conference after opening the Perak Amanah Youth convention here on Saturday (Sept 6).

Muhammad Faiz said he wants the party's youth members to take up the responsibility as they use social media the most.

"I have big hopes for our Youth members and for them to master social media," he said.
