MetMalaysia warns of thunderstorms in several states this afternoon


PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) issued a thunderstorm warning for several states at 1.25pm on Wednesday (April 30).

The forecasted thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds over the states of Terengganu (Dungun), Pahang (Rompin), Selangor, Negeri Sembilan (Jelebu) and Johor (Segamat, Batu Pahat and Kluang).

Other states affected include Sabah: Interior (Sipitang, Tenom and Nabawan) and Tawau (Lahad Datu), and the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya.

The storm warning remains in effect until 4.00pm on Wednesday.
