SHAH ALAM: Gobind Singh Deo has been elected the new DAP chairman by the 30-member central executive committee (CEC), with Nga Kor Ming as his deputy.
Meanwhile, Anthony Loke was re-elected DAP secretary-general with Steven Sim, Hannah Yeoh, and Ramkarpal Singh as his deputies.
The five vice-chairmen are Chong Chieng Jen, Teo Nie Ching, Ng Suee Lim, Syahredzan Johan and J Arul Kumar.
Lim Guan Eng, meanwhile, has been elected as the party’s national adviser.
The role of National Treasurer is now held by Ngeh Koo Ham while his deputy will be Ng Sze Han.
Khoo Poay Tiong has been elected as the national organising secretary with his deputies being Lee Chin Chen and Tan Hong Pin.
The role of national publicity secretary has been given to Yeo Bee Yin with Young Syefura Othman and Wong Shu Qi serving as her deputies.
DAP’s international secretary role will be held by Kasthuriraani A/P Patto which will be assisted by deputy Alice Lau Kiong Yieng.
Lee Chuan How will serve as the party's national political education director with his deputy being Vivian Wong Shir Yee.
The roles of strategic director, policy director, and election director will be held by Liew Chin Tong, Chan Foong Hin, and Wong Kah Woh respectively.
Three other new CEC members of Teo Kok Seong, Chow Kon Yeow, and Liow Cai Tung will serve as committee members.
