Motorcyclist flung into 3m storm drain in Klang, survives with minor injuries


KLANG: A 29-year-old motorcyclist narrowly escaped death after being flung into a three-metre storm drain following a collision with a car at Jalan Batu Belah.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar reported that a distress call was received at about 6.45am on Monday (Feb 24).

"Officers and personnel on scene discovered there was an accident between a car and a motorcycle.

"The rider was flung into a three-metre storm drain but only suffered minor injuries to his leg. Bomba personnel managed to pull him out of the drain," he said in a statement on Monday (Feb 24).
