Chief Secretary announces transfers, new appointment of ministry sec-gens


PUTRAJAYA: Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali announced on Monday (Sept 25) the transfer of four secretaries-general and the appointment of a new one effective Tuesday (Sept 26).

In a statement, Mohd Zuki said the secretaries-general involved in the job rotation are Datuk Seri Dr Zaini Ujang from the Human Resources Ministry to the Health Ministry; Datuk Seri Isham Ishak from the Investment, Trade and Industry Ministry (Miti) to the Defence Ministry; Datuk Azman Mohd Yusof from the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry to the National Unity Ministry; and Datuk Noridah Abdul Rahim from the National Unity Ministry to serve as the director-general of the Federal Territories Department.
