KUANTAN: Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah has advised the public to take care of their health and take precautionary measures following reports that haze conditions have worsened in several areas, particularly Kuala Lumpur.
Al-Sultan Abdullah advised the public, especially children, the elderly, pregnant women and individuals with health problems, to wear face masks when outdoors and reduce outdoor activities if the haze worsens.
His Royal Highness also urged people in Pahang to remain alert to current air quality levels and seek immediate medical attention if they experience health problems caused by the haze.
"Public health and safety must always be given priority. Take appropriate preventive measures, including wearing face masks, drinking sufficient water and reducing exposure to polluted air,” His Royal Highness said in a post on the Pahang Sultanate’s Facebook page.
Al-Sultan Abdullah hoped that everyone would continue to take care of their health, prioritise their families’ well-being and comply with advice issued by the authorities from time to time.- Bernama
