PM: Stop politicising Penang floods

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has called on all parties to stop using the Penang floods for political mileage.

“I want all parties to stop politicising the Penang floods, the focus now is on helping the rakyat,” said the Prime Minister in a tweet on Sunday night.

Najib added that all Government agencies and party machinery have to work together to aid those in need.

Penang sought help after typhoon-like winds and torrential rain lashed the state since Saturday (Nov 4).
