Penang floods: No state of emergency declared, says Guan Eng

GEORGE TOWN: The Penang government will not declare a state of emergency at the moment, said Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng.

He said there is no need to declare state of emergency (darurat) for disaster now as the situation is under control with the help from the Federal Government to handle the worst storm and flood in the history of the state.
