A QUOTATION request by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) for road milling and resurfacing works to be carried out within the parliamentary areas of the Federal Territory has turned out to be fake.
Shown with reference number 2025/B205, the quotation was said to cover a period of two years and was issued on Dec 17, with the deadline stated as 11.59am on Jan 7 with a fee of RM400.
Confirming this through a public announcement, DBKL said the matter had come to their attention after the quotation was displayed in DBKL’s Procurement and Project Management System.
“DBKL wishes to emphasise that this advertisement is not true. Any further information and official announcements related to procurement matters can be referred to the DBKL e-Procurement Portal at eperolehan.dbkl.gov.my,” read the statement.
The announcement ended with an apology which read, “Any inconvenience caused in relation to this matter is sincerely regretted”.
