VISITORS at The Star Karnival Cuti-Cuti Malaysia in Kuantan City Mall, Pahang, were treated to a colourful, three-day cultural immersion that celebrated the depth of the country’s rich heritage.

A total of 57 exhibitors from various industries nationwide participated in the carnival, including food and beverage sellers, handicraft artisans as well as travel agency and hotel representatives.

Besides attractive travel packages, hotel stays and local tour promotions, a highlight of the carnival was the vibrant, cultural dances showcased during its launch ceremony.

Dinosaur Encounter Zoo Teruntum, a dinosaur-themed attraction in Kuantan, had young visitors excited as they tried to engage with the dinosaur and orang utan replicas.

Children and adults alike were seen immersing themselves in various cultural activities and games including batik painting and congkak.

Performances by singers Amad Dayyan and Farez Adnan further enhanced the carnival’s vibrant atmosphere.

The carnival was jointly organised by Tourism Malaysia and Star Media Group.

Similar editions of the carnival were held in Selangor, Sarawak and Penang, with two more to be held in Johor and Sabah this month.
