Star Karnival Cuti-Cuti Malaysia makes its way to JB


JOHOR BARU: The Star Karnival Cuti-Cuti Malaysia has made its way south to Johor, offering attractive travel packages and unique experiences for holidaymakers.

Head to level seven of the Paradigm Mall Convention Centre here from Friday to Sunday (Nov 7 to 9) to explore about 70 booths by travel agencies, hotels, resorts, theme parks, tourist attractions, homestay operators, as well as local craft and food product vendors.

Co-organised by Tourism Malaysia and Star Media Group, the carnival's Johor event is the fifth stop following successful editions in Pahang, Selangor, Sarawak and Penang.

The carnival aims to promote Malaysia’s diverse destinations and cultural experiences.

Visitors can look forward to fun community activities, food sampling sessions featuring varieties of sambal, durian ice cream and kek lapis, as well as lucky draws and lively stage performances.

They can also snap photos with the adorable Visit Malaysia 2026 mascots, Wira and Manja.

An estimated 30,000 visitors are expected to attend the three-day event.

The official launch ceremony will be held on Saturday (Nov 8) by Tourism Malaysia deputy director-general (Promotion II) Lee Thai Hung.
