ONLY 20 next of kin or close relatives can be present at cremation sites in Klang during the movement control order at any one time, while standing 1m away from each other.

Klang Municipal Council (MPK) Corporate Communications Department director Norfiza Mahfiz said public and private crematoriums must follow the standard operating procedure where only 20 adults were allowed to be present at the crematorium at a time.

“Crematoriums are allowed to operate from 8am to 4pm and people must use face mask at all times. Only 20 are allowed into the crematorium area where people can take turns to pay their last respects.

“Children are prohibited from entering the crematorium grounds, ” she added.
