Ever wonder how male runway models can have such natural, smooth skin?

Their stylists use a makeup technique that makes their skin look natural and perfect at the same time and it's called "undetectable makeup”. This technique consists of the clever use of a variety of makeup products that serve for a more masculine appearance and a fresher look.

Firstly, before putting on anything, a moisturiser is applied as a base to dampen the skin and prevent the makeup products from cracking or flaking.

Start off with a tinted moisturiser as it is more subtle compared to something heavier like foundation and make sure to apply it lightly on the skin.

The tinted moisturiser serves to even out your skin tone and remove the residual redness.

Next, to bring out or highlight certain areas of your face such as the jawline, use a bronzer to outline the bottom of the jawline, the cheeks and the corners of the forehead and then blend it with a circular motion.

Use a little bit of concealer to brighten up the under-eyes and conceal pimples for a natural look.

Do use a minimum amount on the centre of the eyebags so as to not make it look cakey.

After giving your face a fresh look, use liquid blush and blend it on the cheeks and nose bridge so the face doesn't look unnaturally smooth.

To top it off, a liquid brow pen is used on the inside corners of your eyebrows.

Slowly spread the product upwards to make the brow look more prominent. To complete the brows, use an eyebrow brush and gel for a uniform finish.

Don't forget to spray a layer of setting spray to keep everything in place.

And that's it – a simple makeup technique that will look good from day to night.
