Nobuyuki Matsuhisa, Japanese sushi chef and owner of Matsuhisa, a sushi establishment in a tiny enclave somewhere in Beverly Hills, was persuaded by one of his longtime customers Robert “Bobby” DeNiro to forge a culinary partnership in Tribeca, New York.
