Malaysian celebrity couple Mizz Nina and Noh Salleh divorce after 11 years of marriage

Malaysian singers Mizz Nina and Noh Salleh have divorced after 11 years of marriage.

Noh confirmed the news in an Instagram post on Thursday (Aug 4) night.

"Nina and I have an important announcement to make.

"After much thought and careful consideration, we have both mutually agreed on going our separate ways," Noh, who is the lead vocalist of Hujan, wrote.

"Alhamdulillah, we are grateful to Allah for allowing us to spend 11 beautiful years together with all the ups, downs and adventures. We also would like to thank all our supporters for showing us much love all these years.

"Don’t worry, we are still friends and we wish well for each other," he said, adding that he and Mizz Nina would appreciate everyone to respect their privacy at this point of time.

Noh, 37, and Mizz Nina – whose real name is Shazrina Azman, 42, married on July 2, 2011. The couple have a son, Musa, whom they adopted in March this year.

Mizz Nina also uploaded a similar post on her Instagram.

Celebrity friends such as Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza, Shila Amzah, Fazura, Bella Astillah as well as fans have reached out to Mizz Nina to offer their support.
