That said, did pickup truck ram into a motorcycle in Kajang over some kind of dispute?

It seems that some people did not get that memo about non-violence.
Police confirmed that the incident as seen in a viral video did take place.
In a 16-second video, a pickup truck can be seen waiting by a gate leading to a road.
The truck suddenly exits the gate and speeds towards a man on a motorcycle further down the road.
The truck goes out of frame briefly but when the footage centres on it again, a man can be seen running away from the vehicle with his motorcycle in pieces on the road.
Selangor police chief Datuk Shazeli Kahar said investigations found that the incident was personal dispute over land and access to the area.
"The incident arose from disagreements between the two parties and we have received two police reports under Sections 307/279 and Sections 395/365 of the Penal Code," he said in a statement on Thursday (Feb 12).
Shazeli said both parties involved lodged the reports and five men aged from 24 to 38, havd been arrested.
He advised the public not to take matters into their own hands and urged them not to spread speculation that could disrupt public order.
