A YOUNG man from Perak has been living in his car for the past four months after moving to Kuala Lumpur.

For 25-year-old Fadhullah Fiziria Shah Shahnun Azli, better known as Fizi, his second-hand car has become both his shelter and bedroom, while the boot serves as storage for clothes, toiletries, rice and a rice cooker.

The engineering foundation graduate said he could not afford a rented room after his commission-based perfume business collapsed, Harian Metro reported.

The financial setback also left him with debts, forcing him to move into his car.

To make ends meet, he now works as an affiliate marketer, promoting products online.

“One day I will get back on my feet. My goal is to rebuild my business and repay those who helped me through difficult times,” he said.

> Singer and humanitarian activist Zizi Kirana has been struggling with insomnia for the past two months after extensive overseas travel for humanitarian missions, Berita Harian reported.

Zizi, whose real name is Nur Fazelah Mad Tahil, said her sleep problems began after participating in the Global Sumud Flotilla 2.0 mission in April.

Prior to that, she had travelled to Aceh, Egypt, Spain and Italy, while also juggling the recording of her latest single, Yang Tertinggal, and attending court proceedings.

“There were times when I didn’t sleep at all. Sometimes I’d doze off and think it was morning, only to realise it was still 10pm,” she added.

> A grave digger from Terengganu who has been battling mouth cancer for the past three years is facing complications that have left him unable to eat for the last two weeks.

Rosli Abdullah, 52, said the disease has caused severe swelling on the right side of his face, making it difficult for him to eat or drink, Kosmo! reported.

“I have only been able to consume liquids through a feeding tube for the past two weeks. That’s the only way I can survive,” he said.

Rosli has undergone two surgeries since being diagnosed. He now requires another operation estimated to cost RM50,000.

“I appeal to the public for contributions so I can undergo treatment as soon as possible and recover,” he said.
