Wawasan secretary-general Datuk Seri Saifuddin Abdullah made the announcement, which included some of the top leaders of the party. These include treasurer-general Datuk Arifin Tobias for Sabah and vice-president Tan Sri Abdul Rahim Thamby Chik for Melaka.

Joining them are several central committee members, including Datuk Muhamed Farid Mohamed Zawawi for Kelantan, Datuk Abdul Aziz Ismail for Terengganu and Khaliq Mehtab Mohd Ishaq for Penang.

The list also features Datuk Asmawi Harun for Pahang, Datuk Suhaimi Mohd Ghazali for Selangor and Datuk Zulkifli Bujang for Johor.

A number of former Bersatu leaders are also included, such as former Bintulu Bersatu division chief Duke Janteng for Sarawak and former Bersatu Titiwangsa division chief Ad Afnan Shahruddin for the Federal Territories. Former Perlis Bersatu secretary Azahar Hassan represents Perlis.

Former Bersatu assemblymen Datuk Zainol Fadzi Paharudin for Perak and Abdul Razak Khamis for Kedah have also been named as Wawasan state coordinators.

They are joined by political activist Badrul Hisham Shaharin for Negri Sembilan.

Wawasan also named former Border Control and Protection Agency director-general Datuk Seri Hazani Ghazali as a new member of its central committee.

"His extensive experience in security and public administration is expected to strengthen and provide added value to the party," Saifuddin said.

He noted in a press release shared on his X account that these appointments reflect the seriousness of the party in building a strong, dynamic and fully prepared machinery to face the state election.

The move also strengthens coordination with Perikatan Nasional.
