THE brutal torture and killing of a toddler in India by his own mother and her boyfriend left the country in shock, Makkal Osai reported.
The woman, identified as Agila was living with her boyfriend Ashgar, 34, in Kerala after the death of her husband.
The couple brought the boy to the hospital saying he was injured in a fall. The boy later died.
An autopsy found that his death was due to injuries sustained from extensive abuse.
The victim’s body was handed to the father’s family while the mother and boyfriend were arrested.
