> Actor Shaheizy Sam has opened up about his concerns for his sister, Datin Seri Zizie Izette Abdul Samad.
He was worried that she hid her struggles while navigating a court case and grieving her husband’s passing, Harian Metro reported.
Shaheizy expressed relief after Zizie, 48, was acquitted by the Sessions Court on a RM2.8mil bribery case linked to a RM150mil unit trust investment.
As her younger brother, he said he had been worried about Zizie having to face the legal battle alone following the death of her husband Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin last year.
“From what I can see, Zizie seems to be doing okay. Perhaps that is how she behaves in front of us because she does not want her siblings to worry.
“What I see is that she is now working harder and is more motivated for the sake of her children,” he said.
“In any case, she did not share anything with me. As far as I am concerned, it is alright if Zizie chooses not to confide in me because perhaps she has come to terms with everything.”
