Seven million MyJPJ users log in via MyDigital ID

PETALING JAYA: Some seven million MyJPJ users have registered and logged in using MyDigital ID, bringing the total number of the digital ID platform users to 12 million.

MyDigital ID said in a statement that the system remained stable and functioning as planned, allowing users to access services easily and securely.

It said the implementation of the MyDigital ID Single Sign-On (SSO) integration for the MyJPJ application, which took effect on May 1, has been running smoothly without technical disruptions.

It said the SSO system also strengthened cybersecurity, with users only needing to use a single verified digital identity based on official government records to access public services.

“This approach reduces reliance on multiple passwords, thereby helping to curb the risk of account breaches, digital fraud and identity misuse,” it added.

Users are encouraged to download and activate the MyDigital ID application to access MyJPJ via the SSO method, and to ensure both applications are updated to the latest versions.

MyDigital ID pledged to continue working closely with the Road Transport Department (JPJ) and National Cyber Security Agency (Nacsa) to ensure a secure, fast and seamless user experience, in line with efforts to strengthen the country’s digital service ecosystem.

For technical assistance related to the MyDigital ID application, users can contact the hotline at 03-8687 2772 or email info@myid.my. Details on registration are available at https://www.digital-id.my/getstarted
