RM27mil worth of assets seized, 40 people identified


KUALA LUMPUR: About RM27mil worth of assets, inclu­ding land, houses, office units, vehicles and valuables, have been seized in an ongoing investigation into the suspected misappropriation of RM230mil in NGO funds.

Outgoing Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki (pic) said the assets comprise four plots of land, seven houses, three office units, 18 vehicles and various ­valuable items.
