A MAN slit his wife’s throat because he suspected her of having an affair, Malaysia Nanban reported.

Identified only as Bagyaraj, the 38-year-old man who works in Chennai, India, was married to Nivethika, and together they had two children.

Several months ago, Bagyaraj reportedly exhibited symptoms of paranoia and frequently questioned his wife’s loyalty towards him, causing arguments.

This resulted in Nivethika, 28, leaving with their children to stay at her parents’ house.

Her family and relatives managed to placate Nivethika and sent her back to her husband a few weeks ago.

However, both husband and wife soon got into another huge fight. Bagyaraj grabbed a knife and slit his wife’s throat. She bled to death at home.

Police have since arrested the husband.
