KL cops nab two suspected burglars after car chase

KUALA LUMPUR: Police arrested two men carrying burglary tools after they failed an attempt to flee.

Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Khairul Anuar Khalid, in a statement Thursday (Feb 26), said that the arrests were made after they duo fled from a police inspection along Jalan Taman Bukit Indah.

A car chase then ensued until their eventual arrest near the Serendah bypass road, heading towards Kuala Lumpur.

"Preliminary police investigations found that the suspects fled a police inspection because they were carrying drugs and housebreaking tools.

"Both have been remanded for four days," he said.
