PM expresses hope for successful, meaningful 2026 for all M'sians in New Year's message


PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim expresses hope for a successful and meaningful 2026 for all Malaysians, as he pledged to continue delivering tangible benefits for the well-being of the people.

“We step into the New Year with a strong spirit of unity and firm resolve to continue strengthening national cohesion, deepening ongoing reforms, and ensuring that the nation’s prosperity is felt by all segments of Malaysian society,” the Prime Minister said in his New Year greeting on Wednesday (Dec 31).

He said the government will continue to work with integrity, courage, and compassion and will remain steadfast in carrying out its responsibilities to deliver tangible benefits to the people–in order to secure a more stable and prosperous future for the nation.

“Let us move forward together, uniting our steps and determination, to realise a more just, prosperous, and resilient Madani Malaysia, one that elevates the nation’s standing to greater heights while ensuring inclusive prosperity for all its people,” he said.

"May the year 2026 be a brighter and more meaningful one for all Malaysians. Azizah and I pray that our beloved country will continue to remain peaceful, harmonious, and prosperous,” he added.
